Dr. Nick Nerem was born in Boone, Iowa and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry while attending Waldorf College and then the University of Iowa. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, located in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Nerem decided to become a chiropractor after sustaining a severe lower back injury in 8th grade football. While suffering for weeks, with no results through traditional medicine and physical therapy, his father brought him to a chiropractor. After a few weeks of treatment his back pain was relieved and he was back on the field.

After graduating from Palmer he moved to Grimes and opened Nerem Family Chiropractic in December of 2006. Soon after he met his wife, Heather, and they have been happily married since 2008.

He enjoys the outdoors, golfing, exercise, and spending time with his wife and children, Mya and Mason.

ABOUT DR. OLSON

Dr. Olson, his wife, Kara, and his daughter, June, live in Grimes. During his free time, Dr. Olson likes to spend time outdoors including hunting and fishing, lifting weights at Body Ignit, and studying new things online about his many other hobbies. Dr. Olson and his wife also enjoy watching new tv shows and movies together on Kara’s days off. Dr. Olson is very passionate about helping others. He decided that he wanted to be a chiropractor in eighth grade. He is zealous for learning and will make anybody that comes into the clinic feel like they are in the right place.
